Connoisseur Dial Oven Thermometer

The Taylor Precision 503 Connoisseur Dial Oven Thermometer tells you how hot your oven is, or in a particular area of your oven. This precision instrument features tough, corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction and a measuring range of 150°F to 600°F. This thermometer is 3-1/2 inches wide by 3 inches high, and its dial is 2-1/2  inches in diameter. Three-way mounting--hanger, stand, or clip--allows for convenient placement of the Taylor 503, even in crowded ovens. The sides of the case have silicone accents for easy handling.

Please Note: The instructions for the Taylor 503 do not indicate whether or not it is submersible or dishwasher safe. We believe that it's better to be safe than sorry, so if you need to clean the 507, we suggest that you wipe it carefully with a damp cloth.

Caution: Prolonged use of this thermometer at temperatures over 440°F may cause discoloration of the silicone accents. Temperatures over 486°F will cause hardening and cracking of the silicone, but the thermometer will continue to operate normally. Taylor recommends that you remove the 503 from the oven at a temperatures of 440°F or above. Also, be sure to remove the 503 from the oven when you are using the self-cleaning cycle.
