Taylor Precision 1449
Digital Outdoor Window Thermometer

The Taylor Precision 1449 Thermometer attaches easily to the outside of a window via a suction cup and lets you view the outdoor temperature comfortably from indoors. The transparent display shows the temperature in big, bold digits, and you can select °F or °C for the temperature unit. A replaceable, long-life lithium battery is included and preinstalled.

The battery that powers the unit is a CR2032 3-volt lithium button cell. If the display becomes dim or otherwise difficult to read, this means that battery replacement is necessary. For the 1449, this is a simple process. You remove two screws to open the battery compartment. Next, you replace the battery, being careful to observe the proper polarity. You then reinsert the screws to close the battery compartment. That's all there is to it.
