The Taylor Precision #522 Connoisseur is a high quality, precision instrument that allows you to measure two cooking events with different temperature goals simultaneously. The #522 has two step-down stainless steel probes with thin tips for faster 1-second readings and smaller puncture holes. The probes even have flexible silicone cords that can withstand temperatures up to 592°F.

The Taylor 522 has a temperature measuring range of 16°F to 302°F (-10°C to 150°C). This unit has two alarm functions, a flashing green light, and also an audible alarm, which alert you at the end of the preset cooking time or if your food has reached the desired temperature. The 522 even has rare to well done temperature presets for cooking beef, pork, ham, poultry, and lamb. This thermometer also has two 99 minute 59 second countdown timers that can function independently or with the probes.
