Monitor the exact temperature of meat, poultry, candy, without opening the oven door. Alarm signals end of preset cooking time, or desired inner food temperature, to ensure perfect results. Temperature range is 32⁰ to 392⁰F.

Additional probes for 1470 Taylor Oven Thermometer

You might want to pick up a spare probe. Eventually they get grungy from being in the oven, and if you have two, you can monitor two dishes by unplugging one probe and plugging in the other. Not as handy as having two thermometers, but cheaper.
