Cason C01B Jumbo Digital Wall Clock with Calendar, Alarm, and Indoor Temperature

You'll appreciate the both the accuracy and the convenient features of this jumbo digital clock. The time can be displayed in 12-hour or 24-hour mode. Calendar information is pre-programmed for year 2000 through 2049. The year is displayed only during setup. Month and date are displayed digitally, and the weekday is displayed as a 2-character abbreviation in English. When you set the clock, you'll need to set the time, year, month, and date. The weekday abbreviation updates automatically as the date is set. The indoor temperature can be displayed in either °F or °C, and both the temperature unit and the 12-/24-hour time mode can be changed at any time during normal operation simply by pushing a button--you won't have to reinitiate clock setup to do this.

The manufacturer calls the C01B a wall clock, and it has three wall-hook recesses on its back panel to hang it securely. But this clock also has two integral flip-out props on its back panel for use on a table, shelf, desk, or other flat surface. That's where you'll want to place it if you use the alarm regularly, since the buttons to turn the daily alarm on or off, and to either stop the alarm from sounding or select the 5-minute snooze function after the alarm goes off, are on the clock's back panel. A bell icon indicates that the alarm is on (set), and a sleeping face icon with closed eyes and an open mouth emitting "ZZZ" (cute!) indicates that the snooze function is in effect.

The Cason C01B Jumbo Digital Wall Clock has a silver-colored plastic case with a semi-metallic finish and a contrasting gray back. Because this clock is cleanly and plainly styled, it will fit in nicely with a variety of interior decors. The clock is powered by 3 AA alkaline batteries.

Please note: This clock is a conventional quartz-controlled digital clock; it is not an atomic clock.  Quartz clocks don't have quite the long-term split-second accuracy of our atomic clocks, but they are not affected by building construction or interference, making them more appropriate for some environments.
