Pearl TC17-1 Sweep Wall Clock with Thermometer and Hygrometer

The Pearl TC17-1 Sweep Wall Clock with thermometer and hygrometer is an inexpensive time and weather instrument that is both stylish and practical. A special feature of this analog quartz clock is its virtually silent sweep second hand. The TC17-1 is ideal for home or office use. The Pearl TC17-1 Sweep Quartz Clock looks distinctive with its black plastic case that is arched and accented in chrome at the top and bottom. The lens is glass. The oval clock dial is medium gray on a black background. The hands are brushed silver-colored metal, and the numerals are a light silver-gray. Unlike most analog quartz clocks, this one has a sweep second hand that's virtually silent (no ticking sound). It's a nice feature, especially on an instrument that's priced so modestly. The thermometer and hygrometer dials have light silver-gray markings and silver-colored pointers on a black background..

The thermometer and hygrometer dials on the Pearl TC17-1 are about 1-1/2 inches in diameter. This is the swept area of the pointers and does not include the numerals and markers on the outside. Including these, the thermometer and hygrometer dials are a little over 2 inches across.

With unconventional and striking styling along with an extremely reasonable price, the TC17-1 Sweep Wall Clock from Pearl is an excellent value. Naturally, we think that it makes a great gift item.

Note: The photos on the box in which this clock is packaged do not show the TC17-1, which has a black case along with a thermometer and hygrometer. Instead, they show other TC17 clock versions, including a clock with the same face but a silver case. Don't worry, though. The clock you'll be getting is the black TC17-1.
