Pearl ERC129 Atomic Alarm Clock
with Indoor Temperature

The Pearl Time ERC129 is a radio controlled digital alarm clock, with date and day of the week, that also tells the indoor temperature.  The display of the ERC129 is relatively large, displaying hours and minutes in 1 1/8 inch digits.  Seconds digits, date, day of the week and indoor temperature are displayed in 1/2 inch digits.  The display of the ERC129 includes a signal strength bar graph indicating the WWVB signal strength present at the time of  reception.  As long as the display indicates adequate signal strength, you can expect this radio controlled clock to remain accurate to within a fraction of a second.

The ERC129 has dual daily crescendo alarms, with a 5 minute snooze feature.  The ERC129 display has a clear plastic shield over its display.  When the shield is pressed, a nice green electro-luminescent display backlight lights the display for about 4 seconds.  This is a nice feature, as it makes it very easy to light the backlight in a dark room without having to find a button.  The clock can be set for 12 or 24 hour mode, and the temperature display can display degrees in F or C.

Please note that the ERC129 does not have a setting to enable or disable Daylight Saving Time.  Depending on where you are located, you may have to make DST changes by changing the time zone configuration.
