According to Oregon Scientific, the DS6868 DShot I Digital Camera offers convenience, quality, flexibility, and fun. We couldn't agree more. Combine a true 1.3 mega-pixel image sensor with features like built-in flash, 2x digital zoom, close-up capability, and a self-timer, and you've got a digital camera that takes quality photos under almost any conditions. In addition to taking still pictures, the DShot I Digital Camera can be used to record short movies or as a web cam for network or Internet video conferencing. Via the included USB cable, both photos and movies can be uploaded to a PC or Macintosh for storage, sharing, or manipulating with the included software packages. If a computer is not available or you do not want to upload your photos or movies, you can view them on a TV.

Use the included ArcSoft^® PhotoStudio^® PC software to modify photos and add special effects or create montages. Post your photo creations on your website, incorporate them into e-mail greeting cards to send to relatives and friends, or print them out on a color printer if one is available. Easily create photo albums on your PC to save all your good times and memories.

Use the included Microsoft Windows^® Netmeeting^® software to conduct video conferences on your own network or the Internet.

The DShot I Digital Camera's software package includes a TWAIN compliant driver, which means that this camera is compatible with any contemporary image-editing software package.
