I didn't realize just how quickly my family would come to depend on this the day I mounted it on the wall next to the front door, and ran the probe wire outside. I check it every morning on the way out the door. It also serves another purpose. This compact, contemporary thermometer is ideal for use at home or the office. The large LCD display can be easily seen from a distance. The LCD screen alternates between time and temperature displays whether set for indoor or outdoor readings. Internal sensor monitors indoor room temperature and displays °F or °C readings. Read the outdoor temperature by placing the included eleven foot wire under a closed window. Easy-to-use controls set the digital clock. Wall mount or use built-in stand for desktop display.
