The Midland ER102 receives AM and FM
broadcast bands for entertainment, or to receive news
bulletins during an emergency.
The ER102 receives NOAA All
Hazard and Weather Alert radio broadcasts with Alert Override functions.
The
combined All Hazards/Weather Alert broadcast network is the
single, most immediate source for comprehensive weather and emergency
information available to
the public.
The Midland ER102 has 4 power options. The
ER102 can operate from it's rechargeable NiMH battery
pack (included), standard AA Alkaline batteries (not included), external
AC adapter, or from it's Dynamo crank. The ER102 has a USB power jack which (with the correct adapter cables) can
be used to power or recharge devices such as cell phones (cables
included for the common cell phones). The ER102 also has a high efficiency LED flashlight built in.
But most importantly, the ER102 is made
by Midland, the radio people. If you are looking for a radio you
can count on, do you really want to buy something less?
