The TX5090 Timex Electronic Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer simultaneously displays the indoor temperature, the outdoor temperature, and the indoor relative humidity in bold numbers. The time can be displayed as an alternative to indoor temperature. This compact wired digital thermometer also features a minimum/maximum memory for the two temperatures and the indoor humidity. Three interchangeable case front inserts--one gray, one red, and one blue--are included. The TX5090 can be mounted on a wall or placed on a shelf, table, or desk in a location where its wired temperature probe can extend out of a window to record and transmit outdoor temperature data.

The TX5090 wired thermometer with hygrometer and clock monitors and displays the indoor temperature and, as reported by the included weather-resistant sensor on a 10-foot (3-meter) cord, the outdoor temperature. Temperatures can be displayed in either °F or °C, as selected by the small recessed pushbutton on the front panel. Indoor relative humidity is displayed in percent (% RH). The time can be displayed as an alternative to indoor temperature. For the time format, you can select either 12-hour (with AM or PM) or 24-hour by means of the small recessed pushbutton on the case back.

The TX5090's integral memory records maximum and minimum values for indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, and indoor humidity. These are available at the push of a button, and you can simply push another button to clear and reset the memory whenever desired.

The indoor temperature measuring range of the TX5090 is 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C). The outdoor temperature measuring range is -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C). The indoor relative humidity measuring range is 20% to 90%, and the hygrometer performs best between 30% and 70% RH.

The TX5090 requires one AAA (1.5V) battery for powering. The battery is not included, and we recommend using an alkaline battery.

Extend the integral folding stand to place the TX5090 on a shelf, table, or desk, or mount the unit on a wall via the hanger hole on the back of the case (you'll need to provide the nail or screw).
