Wired Digital Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer with Min/Max Memory and Digital Quartz Clock

The Timex TX5040 Electronic Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer with Clock simultaneously displays the indoor temperature, the outdoor temperature, and the time. This compact wired digital thermometer also has a minimum/maximum memory for the two temperatures. The TX5040 can be mounted on a wall or placed on a shelf, table, or desk in a location where its wired temperature probe can extend out of a window to record and transmit outdoor temperature data.

The TX5040 wired thermometer with clock monitors and displays the indoor temperature and, as reported by the included weather-resistant sensor on a 10-foot (3-meter) cord, the outdoor temperature. Temperatures can be displayed in °F or °C, and the time can be displayed in 12-hour format (with AM or PM) or 24-hour format. These selections are made via buttons on the front of the unit.

The TX5040's integral memory records maximum and minimum values for both indoor temperature and outdoor temperature. These values are available at the push of a button, and you can simply push another button to clear and reset the memory whenever desired.

The indoor temperature measuring range of the TX5040 is 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C). The outdoor temperature measuring range is -58° to 158°F (-50° to +70°C).

The TX5040 requires one AAA (1.5V) battery for powering. The battery is not included, and we recommend using an alkaline battery.

Extend the integral folding stand to place the TX5040 on a shelf, table, or desk, or mount the unit on a wall by means of the hanger hole on the back of the case (you'll need to provide the nail or screw).
