The TX5030 Timex Electronic Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer with Clock simultaneously displays the indoor temperature and the outdoor temperature in big, bold numbers, and the time can be displayed as an alternative to indoor temperature. This compact wired digital thermometer also features a minimum/maximum memory for the two temperatures. Three interchangeable case front inserts--one blue, one red, and one gray--are included. The TX5030 can be mounted on a wall or placed on a shelf, table, or desk in a location where its wired temperature probe can extend out of a window to record and transmit outdoor temperature data.

The TX5030 monitors and displays the indoor temperature and, as reported by the included weather-resistant sensor on a 10-foot (3-meter) cord, the outdoor temperature. Temperatures can be displayed in either °F or °C, as selected by the small recessed pushbutton on the front panel. The time can be displayed as an alternative to indoor temperature. For the time format, you can select either 12-hour (with AM or PM) or 24-hour by means of the small recessed pushbutton on the case back.

The TX5030's integral memory records maximum and minimum values for both indoor temperature and outdoor temperature. These are available at the push of a button, and you can simply push another button to clear and reset the memory whenever desired.

The indoor temperature measuring range of the TX5030 is 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C), and the outdoor temperature measuring range is -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to +70°C).

The TX5030 requires one AAA (1.5V) battery for powering. The battery is not included, and we recommend using an alkaline battery.

Extend the integral folding stand to place the TX5030 on a shelf, table, or desk, or mount the unit on a wall by means of the hanger hole on the back of the case (you'll need to provide the nail or screw).
