|  Taylor 1330PJ Sling Psychrometer
You may remember this from science class! The Taylor 1330PJ Sling Psychrometer is a wet and dry bulb thermometer pair that tells you the temperature in °F and the relative humidity in percent. You wet the wick on the wet bulb thermometer, snap the thermometer slide onto the metal shaft, and whirl the slide around. It's actually fun. You then note the wet and dry bulb temperatures and put the slide back in the case. The scale on the case indicates the humidity based on the difference between the two temperatures.

The humidity indication is based on the difference between the wet and dry bulb temperatures. You read the humidity in either of two temperature cross-reference tables in the user manual. Because the 5522S contains no mercury, it is environmentally safe.

You read the humidity on an attached table that cross-references the dry bulb reading with the degree difference between wet and dry bulb readings.

The Taylor 5522N Water Cistern is a replacement glass cistern for Taylor 5522, 5522C, 5522S, and 5523 Mason's Hygrometers. If the cistern on your hygrometer breaks or is otherwise rendered unusable, you don't have to replace the entire instrument. Just order up a replacement cistern.

The Taylor 97S411J Hygrometer Wick is a replacement cloth wick for Taylor 5522, 5522C, 5522S, and 5523 Mason's Hygrometers. If the wick on your hygrometer becomes unusable, you don't have to replace the entire instrument. Just order up a new wick.
