The 47377 Westclox Travel Ben 1969 Travel Alarm Clock is an authentic reproduction of the original predecessor from 1969. This 1969 Travel Ben has been updated and revised from the elegant retro styling of travel alarm clocks in years past . This lightweight timepiece is enclosed in an elegant molded black case covered in a leather like fabric and gray velour interior.

With a lustrous spun metal silver tone dial and trim, the 47377 Travel Ben Retro Alarm Clock remains true to its handsome original design.

The outside case is accented in silver tone trim which flips open to use as a stand. The lustrous dial face has a 2 inch diameter and is protected with a shatterproof acrylic lens. The hands and hour markers are luminous and can be seen in dark conditions for easy viewing. Its black, bold digits are an easy to see 3/8 inches.

The alarm has a pleasant beeping sound, sure to wake the soundest sleeper. When the alarm time is reached a beeping sound is made until the alarm switch is slid to its lowest position. The snooze feature works by depressing the top of the clock case lightly while the alarm sounds. This will silence the alarm for 4 minutes, and then resume beeping. This can be repeated for up to four times in an alarm cycle.

This Travel Ben has the modern convenience of a silent quartz movement yet maintains the Big Ben tradition of unique styling and quality. The movement in the 47377 is a conventional analog quartz movement, powered by one AAA battery (not included).
