18-STR Midland Weather Radio Strobe Indicator

The 18-STR Midland Weather Radio Strobe Indicator
will let you 'see' an alert or emergency warning as it
comes in. It would be handy in a noisy environment, for the hearing impaired, or to be seen from a distance. The Midland 18-STR LED Strobe Light has three very
bright flashing LEDs behind a red lens about 2/1/4 x 1 3/8 inches in
size. The unit mounts with a piece of Velcro type hook and loop
fastener tape. The LEDs are powered by 2 internal AAA batteries
that are already installed. The approximately 5 foot long cord
terminates in a 3.5mm two conductor earphone type plug, which is correct
for Midland WR-300, WR-100 and WR-10
weather radios.
As this unit is self powered, it may be
used for any application that simply provides contact closure or active
low to a 3.5mm plug, including a number of other weather radios.
