The 18-259W Midland Weather Band Antenna
is ideal for manufactured homes with metal
covering, businesses with steel construction or any mobile use (boat,
RV, Truck). Covers VHF weather band frequencies. Improves
range and reception. Uniquely designed antenna makes installation
simple, works through glass or fiberglass up to 3/8 inch thick.
Complete with 12' of pre-wired cable and all necessary installation
material. Rod is 17-7 stainless steel with new Black-Kote finish.
Antenna radiator removes easily for car washes etc.
Works with any weather radio with an RCA
female type antenna input (looks like the connectors used for separate
audio and video on common VCR's) including Midland WR-300, WR-100 and
WR-10. May work on others with an appropriate adapter.
