The 00604 Acu-Rite Digital Wireless Indoor Outdoor Thermometer and Alarm Clock with snooze can be hung on a wall anywhere, or can stand on it's own with it's built in stand.  But with it's alarm functions, larger than average display digits, and a momentary display backlight, the best place to put the Acu-Rite 00604 might just be on your nightstand. 

The Acu-Rite 00604 displays indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, and time, and has alarm clock functionality, including a 10 minute snooze alarm. The prominent button on the top of the unit serves as both a snooze alarm and a backlight switch. If the alarm is sounding, pressing the button silences the alarm for 10 minutes. If the alarm is not sounding, pressing the button illuminates the display for 5 seconds. Digit sizes are 5/8" for degrees and time, smaller for degree tenths.

The remote temperature sensor is white in color and about 4 inches tall by 2-1/2 inches wide by 1-1/8 inch deep in size.
