Maverick Housewares ET74 Wireless Remote Deep Fryer Thermometer

The Maverick Housewares ET74 Wireless Remote Thermometer monitors the deep fryer oil temperature, and displays the results on a wireless receiver up to 150 feet away. The Maverick ET74 thermometer receiver will display current and average oil temperature, plus count-down or count-up timer information. The ET74 will beep to alert you if the oil is too hot or too cool, or the timer reaches "0:00". Since the Maverick ET74 fryer thermometer is wireless, you don't need to stay next to the grill, just clip the receiver to your belt, put it in your shirt pocket, or stand it on the table up to 150 feet from the fryer.

The Maverick Housewares ET74 Thermometer consists of two separate units. The receiver is compact, about 4 x 2 3/8 x 1 inch. The receiver simultaneously displays the current temperature and the average temperature in your choice of °F or °C, in digits about 1/2 inch and 3/8 inch tall respectively, plus countdown/count-up timer information in 7/16 inch digits. It is equipped with a removable belt clip and fold out stand.

The transmitter, with its 16" long probe, clips to the side of the fryer, and transmits temperature information to the receiver up to 150 feet away.

Integral count-down or count-up timer displays in hours and minutes up to 9 hours, 59 minutes.
Receiver comes with a snap-on bracket that allows for belt clip or table top use.

Cautions:

Always wear a heat-resistant glove to touch the probes or wires during or after cooking. The probe will be as hot as the oil!
Keep the stainless steel probe sensor away from children
Wash the metal probe with hot soapy water and dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the probe wire in water while cleaning.
Wipe the transmitter and receiver with a damp cloth. Do not immerse either in water.
Do not use the probe sensors and wires above 410°F (210°C) because doing so will deteriorate the wire.
Do not expose the probe wire to open flame.
