The 31215 Equity Wireless Indoor Outdoor Thermometer and Digital Alarm Clock offers a lot of information, and eye-catching styling. The top line of this clock's 5-line LCD panel displays the outdoor temperature, with a temperature trend indicator arrow, as transmitted from the included wireless remote sensor. The second line of the LCD panel displays the indoor temperature. The third line displays the time, hours and minutes, in 12 or 24 hour format.  Line four has alarm indicators for the two alarm functions, and seconds for the clock display. At the bottom of the display, line five shows the date in month date format, and an abbreviation for day of the week. For night viewing, you'll appreciate the green-glow backlight with auto-off.

You'll appreciate both the quartz accuracy and the convenient features of the 31215 digital clock. The time can be displayed in 12-hour or 24-hour mode, and the indoor and outdoor temperatures can be displayed in either °F or °C. Calendar information is pre-programmed for year 2003 through 2069, and the weekday is displayed as a 3-letter abbreviation in your choice of German, Italian, English, French or Spanish. The weekday abbreviation updates automatically as the date is set.

The integral memory in the 31215 records maximum and minimum values for both indoor temperature and outdoor temperature. These values can be instantly displayed at the push of a button. Minimum and maximum temperatures are stored and updated until the memory is reset. You can initiate independent resets for minimum and and temperature records at any time simply by pushing a button.

The outdoor (remote) temperature sensor/transmitter included with the 31215 has a maximum transmission range of 100 feet (30 meters) in open space with no interference. The remote comes with a bracket for wall mounting and has an integral folding table stand for placement on a horizontal surface.

The daily alarm on this clock has an available snooze function. Pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button when the alarm beeps silences the alarm and resets it to sound again in 9 minutes.

The clock is powered by two AA alkaline batteries. The remote is powered by two AAA batteries. Expected battery life is about 1 year. If the remote will be used in temperatures below 32°F or above 122°F, lithium batteries are recommended instead of alkaline.
