The Acu-Rite 02309 Weathered Copper Enclosed Tube Thermometer is a decorative bulb-type thermometer designed for outdoor use. The heavy gauge capillary tube ensures accuracy and has greater magnifying power than some glass tubes. The capillary tube is enclosed in a protective transparent plastic cylinder. The metal fleur de lis (French for "flower of the lily") end caps on the thermometer cylinder and the metal mounting bracket are finished in weathered copper. This traditionally styled, high quality thermometer should give you years of reliable service.

The temperature scales on the 02309 thermometer read from -30°C to +50°C and from -20°F to +120°F. The numbers on the Celsius scale are at 10° intervals, and those on the Fahrenheit scale are at 20° intervals. The numbers are bold and just over 1/8 inch tall. The hash marks between the numbers on both scales are at 2° intervals.

Included with the 02309 are two wood screws for securing the mounting bracket to a vertical surface. For the most accurate temperature readings, be sure to choose a mounting location where the thermometer will not be exposed to direct sunlight or other direct heat sources.
