Casio watches have an enviable reputation
for merging high technology with high quality, and the new Casio Wave
Ceptor watches are no exception. The WV55HDA-7AV watch features
styling that's midway between rugged-sporty and formal-dressy. The
watch can be set for any of 25 worldwide time zones. For the watch's
timekeeping mode, you can toggle between two different displays: Home
Time and Date or Home Time and UTC (Universal Time Coordinated). The
watch also features a 1/100-second stopwatch that records elapsed
time, lap time, split time, and two finishes. |

| In
contrast to some other Wave Ceptor models, the face of this
watch is a tall, slightly rounded rectangle. The case is mostly
plastic--matte silver in color, with black plastic and shiny
metal accents. The band is stainless steel. Control pushbuttons
are semi-concealed, being flush with the side extensions of the
case. The back of the watch is heavy black plastic and contains
molded-in world time information, including major cities and the
hour offset of each from GMT. With a generous feature complement
at a modest price, the WV55HDA-7AV is an excellent
value.
