Casio PRO TREK watches contain small sensors that detect direction, altitude, and other conditions to help keep the wearer in touch with the natural world when challenging the great outdoors. The PRO TREK’s ability to provide up-to-the-minute information whenever it is needed has made it an essential piece of gear for mountain climbing, trekking, and other outdoor activities.

This new model improves upon earlier Casio outdoor digital watches by providing altitude measurements up to 10,000 meters (32,800 feet). Also, its large display panel with a dual-level LCD display screen indicates direction readings by a pointer that seems to float above other displayed data. The result is more information in a format that is easier to read. In addition, direction, altitude, and barometric pressure measurements can be triggered by pressing large individual buttons for each reading, providing the information the instant you need it.

The nylon and leatherette band on this watch is black in color with a blue insert and visible stitching. This watch is actually an international model that is functionally identical to the Casio PATHFINDER PAG40-3VCF outdoor watch, which is also available on this website. However, this watch's band keeper reads "PRO TREK" instead of "PATHFINDER," and its instruction manual is in 5 languages instead of 4. In addition to English, Spanish, and Portuguese, you also get Japanese and Arabic, but not the French that appears in the PATHFINDER's manual.
