The weather forecaster uses Acu-Rite's patent pending 14 day learning mode. When the Acu-Rite 75077 is activated, the forecaster will analyze atmospheric pressure variations for 14 days to profile it's location. Once the 14 days have passed, the Acu-Rite can use barometric pressure and temperature data to display a weather forecast icon with superior accuracy. The weather forecast icon will display the likely weather forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours.
